St. John vacation rentals

See St. John vacation rentals at the owner's own nightly rate for your dates, then write to the owner by name before anything is booked.

Vacation rentals from $4,000 a night

St. John vacation rentals here are listed by the people who own them: villas and homes from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay, each at its owner's rate. The tradeoff is the drive. Coral Bay is 28 minutes by car from the Cruz Bay ferry dock, and a house outside town needs a car. Choose the area first.

How booking direct works

You pay the owner, not a platform. No service fee. Here is what happens after you send an inquiry.

  1. 01
    You write to the owner

Send your dates and who is coming from the villa page. It goes straight to the person who owns the house.

  2. 02
    They confirm the price

The nightly rate you saw is theirs; they confirm it for your dates with the tax and any cleaning fee, and the house rules.

  3. 03
You pay the owner, not us

However they take it. This site never charges you and never holds your money.

Booking St. John vacation rentals direct: your questions

How do I get to a St. John rental from the airport?
St. John has no airport. You fly into Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas, drive about 38 minutes east to the Red Hook dock, and cross to Cruz Bay on the passenger ferry or the car barge.
Do I need a car on St. John?
Outside Cruz Bay, yes. From Peter Bay the drive to the ferry dock is 16 minutes, over steep ground, and from Coral Bay it is 28. In Cruz Bay the ferry, shops and a beach are on foot.
What does booking a St. John rental direct cost me?
Nothing on top of the owner's price. Their nightly rate, the territory's room tax and any cleaning fee they set make up the total they confirm. Airbnb would add its guest service fee, 14.1% to 16.5% of the subtotal as checked in September 2026; here that line does not exist.
